Mr. Fakharuddin Al-Mahmud is a seasoned professional in Bangladesh’s maritime and shipping industry, with over two decades of proven expertise. Following his post-graduation, he embarked on his professional journey in the early 2005s, entering the shipping sector at a time of rapid transformation and globalization. Since then, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, operational insight, and commitment to excellence across various key roles. Throughout his 20+ year career, Mr. Fakharuddin Al-Mahmud has worked with both multinational and local shipping organizations, gaining a deep and holistic understanding of the shipping ecosystem. Notably, he served with Jardine Shipping Services BD Ltd, one of the most reputable international shipping agents operating in Bangladesh. His experience also spans leadership positions in several prominent local agencies, where he played instrumental roles in managing port operations, agency services, and client relationships. Mr. Fakharuddin Al-Mahmud has directly overseen and coordinated operations for numerous Main Line Operators (MLOs), Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOCCs), and container & bulk vessels. The list of international principals he has handled includes TS Lines, HEUNG-A, ANL, VASCO Maritime, PERMA Shipping, Simatech / Feedertech, HARTMANN ASIA, and SINOKOR, among others. His experience covers a broad spectrum of services — from liner agency and feeder vessel coordination to cargo handling, vessel scheduling, documentation, and regulatory compliance. In 2024, leveraging his industry knowledge and leadership acumen, Mr. Fakharuddin Al-Mahmud co-founded Circle Shipping & Maritime Services, taking on the role of Director.
